Lactation Consultant: 

Michelle grew up in New England, then headed south to Florida Atlantic University, where she earned her nursing degree and met the love of her life. Eventually they made their way to Maryland where they raised their three children right here in the Annapolis community. For decades Michelle has been part of Luminis Health Anne Arundel Medical Center, starting as a bedside NICU nurse, then becoming an IBCLC and joining the Lactation Department, where she has been supporting families ever since. Michelle also teaches perinatal education classes on breastfeeding and newborn care. 

Michelle is especially passionate about helping new mothers get their best start, particularly NICU graduates and their families, who often need a little extra encouragement and a lot of patience on their breastfeeding journey. She is thrilled to bring more outpatient breastfeeding support to the Annapolis area. When not working, you'll find her on the yoga mat, the pickleball court, the golf course, or in her garden. But her very favorite title of all is Mimi to her three amazing grandbabies!
