Dr. Lea Lacefield leads our lactation services with expertise, compassion, and dedication. As a co-owner and director of lactation services, Lea brings a wealth of experience in pediatric primary care, lactation services, and postpartum support for women. Her specialized training in food sensitivities, allergies, and perinatal mental health further enriches her ability to provide comprehensive care to families.

Known for her warm and caring demeanor, Lea is committed to creating a supportive and non-judgmental environment for all families. She firmly believes in the power of education and support, guiding clients through their breastfeeding journey with empathy and understanding.

With a focus on supporting families and her ability to manage cases of medically complex lactation needs, Dr. Lacefield serves clients in our LaPlata and Largo offices, as well as virtually, ensuring accessibility to care for all.
