Billing Specialist: 

Joan is a proud mother of three girls and a devoted GiGi to her beloved grandchildren, Leo and Violet. With over 30 years of experience in the medical field, she brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the Milky Moms administration team. 

As our Billing Specialist, Joan plays an essential role in managing the daily revenue cycle. Her responsibilities include submitting claims, posting and reviewing payments, resolving denials, and following up on outstanding insurance and patient balances to help ensure timely reimbursement. 

Outside of work, Joan enjoys baking, crafting, antiquing, and thrifting. She’s a fan of the Baltimore Orioles and Washington Capitals and loves spending time on the water while enjoying some classic Maryland seafood!
